Born in Toms River, New Jersey, Suresh Prakash grew up in a music-loving household. Receiving his first electric keyboard in grade 7, he was immediately hooked to playing and creating music. In the summer of 2009, he received his first drum kit and his first bass guitar shortly afterward. Realizing he loved learning and playing new instruments, he began writing more band-oriented music entirely by himself, albeit with rather unprofessional equipment.

Finally, Suresh decided to take his original recordings to City Lights Recording Studio in 2009, whereupon meeting Guy Daniel, his songs took a turn for the better almost instantly. His first album, Brown Magic (under the aritst name 'Reshy P'), features him on keyboards, drums, bass, and vocals with assistance from other friends on guitars, percussion, synths, and backing vocals.
